Prime Minister Imran Khan was ousted on April 8, 2023, in an American-orchestrated Vote of No Confidence. The regime change brought forth a coalition government backed by the Pakistan Army high command under the name of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM). There was nothing democratic about it.
Khan took peaceful protest to the streets, rallying for change and justice. However, his countrywide peaceful demonstrations were met with an overwhelming and brutal display of force by the Joint Criminal Enterprise (or the Army High Command), marking a tragic turn among the Pakistani people’s quest for a peaceful resolution.
The ruthless methods employed by the unlawful government and the complicit army high command, have simulated the strategy Israel employed to suppress the Second Intifada. The second Intifada was largely a peaceful demonstration by Palestinians. However, by 2006, the second Intifada was defeated by Israel. The methods used were deaths among Palestinians six times that of Israel; destruction of land and homes; Palestinians were systematically incarcerated and tortured. Israel arrested and detained a large number of Palestinians suspected of involvement in the uprising, often holding them without trial. A similar story has unfolded in Pakistan.
Pakistan now is turning to resemble what the former British Conservative Prime Minister David Cameron once said about Gaza—an open-air prison, where try leaving or immigrating from Gaza to another country and you can’t leave. Waking up in Gaza, and there are no jobs or clean drinking water.
Eventually, Pakistan will make the largest open air prison. For Pakistan, unconfirmed figures appear on social media for professionals leaving Pakistan. However, there are also unconfirmed videos on the Internet of young youth off boarded from the planes and their passports confiscated.
A convicted absconder, the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, is repatriated from London to Pakistan and is subsequently granted a pardon for all his crimes. Elections are expected to be manipulated to install Sharif as Prime Minister, contrary to the will of the people. This scenario raises concerns of Pakistan potentially resembling what sociologist Baruch Kimmerling from Hebrew University once characterized as Gaza: the world’s largest concentration camp.
The days leading up to the election-day are expected to be highly challenging for Pakistan Tehrik-e Insaf (PTI), the party of Imran Khan, who is currently detained in jail on fabricated charges. There is a heightened risk of PTI candidates’ assassination, abductions, vandalism, and arson taking place on election day, all aimed at undermining Khan’s party. The severe consequences will be deliberately engineered to inflict intense human suffering to undermine Khan’s party’s prospects.
Since Khan is not the candidate of choice of the Western powers, crimes committed will remain far from the International Criminal Court, leaving a dark shadow on the democratic process. Whether it’s the election day massacre or the brutality and human rights violations leading up to the coming elections, these likely events would have drawn upon the brutality witnessed during Israel’s Operation Protective Edge, which resulted in the deaths of approximately 3,000 Palestinians in Gaza.
Pakistan will be denied fair elections. The Pakistani people with high zeal will cast their votes. Circumstances will not lead to PTI’s success. The army high command and their backers have learned from precedence. During the 2006 elections of West Bank and Gaza, Hamas won. Hilary Clinton is on record; Ms. Clinton said that we made a big mistake, we should have rigged the elections.
The Pakistanis cautiously find themselves in a moral quandary. The moral quandary involves the very men they once held in high regard have inflicted upon the people mass casualties. The army considers the Pakistani people as one of its foes. Just as Israel is grappling with its adversary, Hamas, and in the past, Israel has exerted significant pressure, often referred to as “mowing the grass,” to suppress Hamas; the Pakistan army high command’s “mowing the grass” tactics involves sniper fire assassinations, abductions, destroying homes, and assaulting the people of interest’s women and children.
The Palestinians in their desperate bid for freedom felt compelled to launch an attack because they had been enduring a prolonged captivity and living in a geographic open-air prison. Trapped within these dire conditions, where they were subjected to constant violence, they believed that taking action was their only recourse. The heavy toll of casualties, with many brothers, sisters, parents, nieces and nephews being shot and killed, underscored the extent to which they were willing to risk everything to break free from their open-air prison and secure their fundamental rights and safety.
On October 7, 2023, these desperate individuals initiated an assault on Israel, fully aware that there was no turning back. The attackers opted for a fate that meant facing death alongside those who envisions a more expansive and a united Greater Israel.
I expect, following the elections in Pakistan, the people would have undoubtedly confronted a spectrum of atrocities. Would they choose a course of action that involved taking the lives of Pakistan Army personnel in their path, and how would they morally justify the righteousness of their actions?
Norman Finkelstein has offered defense of the righteousness of the actions of the attacker of 7th October. Finkelstein searched the American history and found the justification given for the Nat Revolt of 1831, by Willian Garrison, an abolitionist (opposed slavery.) The Nat Turner rebellion was a salve revolt. Turner, of a darker skin, asked all his followers to kill all the white people in their path. It was a big massacre. Willian Garrison, who worked for a newspaper “The Liberator,” in the defense of the rebellion gave three justifications as follows:
- I told you so. We (abolitionist) warned you.
- Denounced the self-righteous hypocrites.
- The revolt was horrible, but was very clear, he never once condemned the slave revolt.
Norman Finkelstein said that history holds Willian Garrison in high regard. Finkelstein, said that he is not sorry for making his moral judgement. With the information on hand around October 07, 2023, the date Hamas launched an attack on Israel, Norman Finkelstein, an academic was not apologetic to Israel.
Pakistanis are leaning towards adopting a firm stance against these men (Bajwa, Asim Munir, Gen. Sahir and the Corps commanders.) Growing public outrage transforms these perceived traitors into symbols of escalating human rights abusers and democracy saboteurs, raising concerns about potential violent repercussions.
Those that kill these generals, Judges and those in police, as seen in the case of Willian Garrison, history will hold them in high regard. Dr. Zafar Bangash, a social media influencer provided justification on Islamic grounds for the “killing” of these men that have committed treachery. It is a far flung outcome knowing the enslaved minded people cannot even turn out for peaceful demonstrations.
In the event of civil unrest, PTI will immediately be banned as a terrorist organization. Banning of PTI will be a meaningless act. Practically, PTI is banned. The Joint Criminal Enterprise enjoying Western support has adopted ruthless measures to suppress PTI. Come February 08, 2024, the election day, there will be no PTI candidate on the ballot to vote for.
The struggle for freedom will gain momentum after February 08, 2023
The Pakistani culture has a redeeming quality that I predict will lead them to a democratic victory. Pakistanis usually believe in fate under normal circumstances, but this time around, resigning to fate is not likely.
Asim Munir would have set the grounds for revenge
Hope in general is a double-edged sword for Pakistanis. It commits them to do nothing and endure pain and consequences. When revenge erupts from poverty, hope will tempt fate. Watch the Joint Criminal Enterprise involved in treachery and the capture of the country; they will flee the country after exercising a laid-out plan.

Views of any author becomes their version of writing history. However, the cover photo with this article seems to be of Indian para military force & not of Pak Army.looking at the badges & ranks on his cap, arm , shoulders & chest.
Thank you for your comment. Will take your last comment first. My fact checker informed me this morning that indeed the previous title photograph pertained to India. A new picture replaced the old around 12 noon EST. My apologies.
Innocent lives have been taken in Pakistan by the State--a fact. While authors undoubtedly shape historical narratives through their perspectives, it is essential to recognize that the most accurate and comprehensive understanding of history often emerges from a synthesis of multiple viewpoints, source documentation and letters of those times. By acknowledging multiple perspectives, we can strive to construct a more nuanced and inclusive historical narrative that reflects the multifaceted nature of human experiences and events. Finding truth is very difficult. Thank you for your feedback.
